Brought clarity to complexity by leading a full redesign of Glacier Grid’s fragmented design system during their transition to UI 2.0. My role focused on consolidating work from multiple previous designers into a unified, easy-to-use component library aligned with engineering standards. I redefined color roles (moving away from layered transparencies), streamlined components from Storybook, and rebuilt the system using Tailwind CSS definitions to match front-end practices. This project required harmonizing three conflicting sources of truth into one simplified, non-designer-friendly design toolkit—transforming a system the team was hesitant to touch into a cornerstone of their new UI strategy.
